Naptimes for Puppies

Kilo's Favorite Thing:
You can't see it, because it's covered by a blob of dog fur, but underneath that unconscious mess is an air vent. The most wonderfully splendid invention ever created by man - according to my dog anyway. He's still managing to squeeze himself between the wall and my desk but eventually I predict only his head will fit. In case you're curious he also spends car time with his nose glued to the air vent. Ah, cool air, how wonderful it must be - I no longer know what it feels like since there's a 40lb dog plugging it up but I imagine its nice.

Kilo's Second Favorite Thing

(look! I figured out how to post videos!)

This is one of his and my favorite toys, though for very different reasons. I assume he likes it because it provides yummy goodness; I like it because it wears him out and keeps him entertained all at the same time.

The following picture is NOT one of Kilo's favorite things. In fact it might be his most hated experience of all time. But he at least has resigned himself to it now. On a positive note it's much nicer/bigger than his old crate and will hopefully allow him to stay cooler. If he outgrows this, I'm in trouble.

  1. FINALLY we can enjoy this "little" monster! This is the first week he hasn't been sick or trying to take a bite out of one of us. Maybe he was cranky because he was sick, we're not sure, but he certainly could be intimidating. Now, he's finally behaving more like what we expected - an intelligent, affectionate sweetie! He certainly has made you prove your skills as a trainer and you've done a fantastic job! His behavior is finally in synch with his looks!

  2. Thanks for posting the video!
Love the vent photo. Looks like he found a very cozy spot there. Glad to read your mom's comment that he is becoming more "fun" now!
