I'm late updating. Partly because last weekend we journeyed once more to my grandmas house, but also because for the past week Kilo's been an A class jerk. In fact, he's been so bad that several times I've thought to myself: 'If his eyes were a tad smaller or his face just a little less cute, this would so not be worth it.' Two weeks ago Kilo had seemingly evened out. He was behaving 60% of the time, no belongings or visitors had gone missing - life was going well. Last week Kilo decided Dennis the Menace really does have more fun. Behaviors I naively thought were long gone have suddenly resurfaced. He's mouthing, grumbling, barking at strangers and generally making a real idiot of himself. This week I watched my peace of mind board a jet engine and take off for Bermuda.

The Jerk

Bermuda doesn't sound so bad and aren't you convinced yet that you didn't get a dog, you got a child in a fur coat?! BTW, they aren't allowed on that bed!
ReplyDeleteGreat post! I read it twice. : ) I love that picture of the two of you. Is he maximum size now? The one of both dogs on the bed is priceless. They look so cozy on that gorgeous bed! (is that an antique?)
ReplyDeleteThis relationship may make you reconsider children down the road, for as your mom says there are many similarities. : ) But they really look cute sleeping!
Donna - No the bed is not an antique, but is a nice piece of cherry furniture. The quilt, however, was made by my mother and a lot of the fabrics are scraps from my childhood dresses as well as some of the father's pajamas. The bed is currently located in the dining room (no doors) because Mark can't navigate stairs and the dogs have obviously discovered it.
